Built backward from outcomes.

Most risk models are built forward, from theory. ClaimZero was built backward, from what went wrong on real projects and the first signal that predicted it.

Ken Van Liew

Founder

Ken Van Liew founded ClaimZero after four decades moving through every seat in the development life cycle: civil engineer, construction manager, builder and developer.

He then spent years being called in after the fact as an expert witness, to determine what went wrong on someone else’s project, and when it became inevitable.

That forensic practice is the method behind ClaimZero: walk a failed project backward, from the consequence to the first signal that predicted it. ClaimZero’s checks are that backward walk, run forward, every week.

$4.2B built · 7M SFKen Van Liew’s career record as an engineer, builder and developer. Not ClaimZero platform results.
